Suggestion: build JS to custom dir

Dec 21, 2011 at 2:55 PM

After getting Node and Npm to run in windows (which now works) , I still couldn't get by coffee-files to build.

With this great little tool it was a breeze!

One suggestion: to keep a clean coding-environment it would be great if I could specify a custom build-dir to which the compiled JS-files would be outputted. This, instead of the the same dir as the coffee files are in.

Thanks and cheers,

I support the idea, my main concern is this (too).

That's what I get for not checking the Discussions section. Good idea, I'll add this soon.

One question - if you have multiple watched directories, would you want to be able to specify a different output directory for each one, or would a single output directory for all input directories suffice?

For me being able to specify a target for the root-directory would be ideal. This would create an identical directory-tree but with a different root-dir

Thanks!

Sorry I took so long to get back to it, but this feature is now implemented.
